About Us
The Marilyn S. Broad Foundation was established in 2001 by Marilyn in Washington, D.C. The Foundation took its current form at our first annual meeting in Andover, Virginia in 2003.
Since then, the MSB Foundation has given over one million dollars in grants to over 20 charities focusing on healthcare, education, and alleviating poverty.
President/Treasurer
Daniel Serviss has been President and Treasurer of the MSB Foundation since 2002, and worked closely with Marilyn to create the bylaws of our foundation. Daniel is an attorney at a prominent law firm in New Jersey.
Vice President
Jonathan Serviss was Secretary of the MSB Foundation from 2002-2004, and became Vice President in 2005. Jonathan works as a radio producer in San Francisco, California.
Secretary
Katie Serviss joined the Marilyn S. Broad Executive Board as Secretary in 2024. Katie is a longtime legal secretary in Southern California. She also serves as secretary for her local dog park non-profit group assisting with hosting adoption events. Katie is enjoying her new journey into motherhood. In her spare time, you can find her at the dog park surrounded by her furry friends.
